JT CEO SURESH VASWANI
Suresh Vaswani (born 2nd Jan 1960) is the Joint CEO of Wipro’s IT Business and is a Member of the Board of Wipro Limited. He jointly carries the overall responsibility for the strategy and operations of Wipro’s IT Business.
Suresh joined Wipro in 1985 from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and has held a broad range of leadership positions in critical portfolios across the Wipro Ltd. Prior to this role Suresh was President - Global IT Service Lines, Wipro Technologies and President - Wipro Infotech.
Suresh has been with Wipro for 23 years in various leadership roles and has been responsible for Wipro’s leadership position in differentiated global practices and emerging markets.

Girish S. Paranjpe has been Co-Chief Executive Officer of IT Business at Wipro Ltd., since April 18, 2008. Mr. Paranjpe has been President of Banking, Finance & Insurance Vertical at Wipro Technologies Ltd., a subsidiary of Wipro Ltd., since October 2000. Mr. Paranjpe has served with Wipro Technologies, Ltd. in other positions since July 1990. He has been with Wipro for more than 13 years and has headed the finance function in virtually all of Wipro's businesses. In ... August 2000, he moved to a business role to head Wipro's fledgling BFSI (Financial Services) practice. He has been a Director of Wipro Ltd., since April 18, 2008. He is a Member of Wipro's Corporate Executive Council. He has also taken the initiative to implement innovative training programs like Insurance 101, 201 and Finance 101, 201 to educate more than 2000 people within the Finance Solutions Domain. He has represented Wipro and the IT Industry in various public forums including the Prime Minister's Task Force on Information Technology, the NASSCOM and at leading global business schools. Mr. Paranjpe studied B.Com from Sydhenam College, Bombay University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Girish S Paranjpe is the new Jt. Chief Executive Officer of Wipro’s IT Business alongside Suresh Vaswani and is an Executive Director in the Board of Wipro Limited. He jointly carries the overall responsibility for the strategy and operations of Wipro’s IT Business. He takes over this new role effective April 2008 and will report into the Chairman of the Company Mr. Azim Premji.
Girish’s direct responsibilities include the following Business Units – Finance Solutions, Communication, Media and Technology vertical and e-enabling service line. Girish is also directly responsible for driving Consulting and the functions under him are Global Delivery, CTO and CIO office & Operations.
Girish joined Wipro in 1990 and has held a broad range of leadership positions in critical portfolios across the Wipro Corporation during his tenure in Wipro for the last 17+ years.
In his last role from year 2000–March 2008, he was the President of Wipro Technologies Financial Solutions division and a member of Wipro’s Corporate Executive Council. Financial Solutions division provides IT and business process services and solutions to global customers in Banking, Insurance, and Securities and in diversified Financial Services. Under Girish’s leadership, Finance Solutions has grown at 45% per annum on a compounded basis over the past five years, established valuable customer relationships and significantly deepened domain expertise within Finance Solutions. During Girish’s tenure, the share of Wipro’s revenue from Financial Services clients more than doubled going up from 12% to 25%.
Girish also had additional responsibility and was overseeing marketing for the technology business and was heading strategic council.
He became the head for the consulting practice from the year 2007 and this still continues to be part of his direct responsibility.
